Located on the slopes of the Tarentaise, not far from Beaufortain and facing Les Arcs, La Rosière is called ‘The Balcony of the Tarentaise’ for its exceptional 180° panoramic south-facing view.

In this region, the summits are kings. The Italian side of Mont Blanc dominates the San Bernardo area, the only French-Italian ski area that connects La Rosière to La Thuile in the Aosta Valley. Since the beginning of time, the Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard has connected Italy and France and witnessed history in the making, both intimate and world shaking.

La Thuile is nestled in the heart of a small mythical part of the Val d’Aoste. The last Italian commune on the road of the Col du Petit-Saint-Bernard, locals speak both French and Italian. The gastronomy here is fine and varied, and the alpine landscapes breathtaking.
